FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
What do you look for in my report?
Factual discrepancies you can point to: conflicting payment statuses between bureaus, balances that contradict a paid or closed status, mismatched dates, duplicate accounts, and personal information that doesn't match yours. I don't treat negative information as an error just because it's negative.
Will items be removed from my report?
No one can guarantee that — not me, not anyone. The bureaus must investigate disputes, and accurate information can stay on your report. What I can do is make clear, evidence-based requests for you.
Do I have to answer a lot of questions?
No. There's no mandatory interview. You can optionally add details or supporting documents to any letter.
Are my letters really personalized?
Yes. Each letter I write is organized around the accounts, bureau reporting, evidence and personal details you confirm. I never just place your name on a generic letter.
What does the 100,000+ letter experience mean?
My letter framework draws on patterns and experience from more than 100,000 dispute letters developed by credit specialists and attorneys familiar with consumer credit disputes. Your letter is still based only on your facts, and Alaya is not a law firm or a substitute for legal advice.
How does mailing work?
You can always download your letters and send them yourself. If you'd rather I mail them, you approve a final packet — letter, ID and proof of address — with the price shown before anything goes out.
How do new rounds work?
A new round starts when there's something new: an updated report or a bureau response. I won't resend letters on a timer.
Which report formats are supported?
PDF and image formats are planned. The exact supported sources will be confirmed at launch.
